This position is dedicated to assisting customers with their loan applications, processing and making loan disbursements, following bank standards. This individual will perform duties required of this position including, but not limited to:


  • Collect required application documentation from LO and customer, and follow up on missing items
  • Establish, maintain and update files, databases, records and/or other documents for internal reports
  • Order credit reports, title reports, appraisals and flood certifications
  • Compile documents for customer files and enter intakes to Loan/Data Operating System for processing and assessment
  • Assure that all customer files are complete and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies/procedures
  • Ensure customer privacy, security of files and appropriate staff access
  • Perform the following administrative support duties including but not limited to:
    • Obtain commitment letters from Underwriting, process denial letters and cancel files as needed
    • Maintain pipeline reports and notify LO of status
    • Process the documents received for each file, verifying the accuracy and completeness of each document
    • Deliver completed files to closing
  • Provide customer with timely and periodic status updates of the loan application
  • Respond to all inquiry calls, emails and other communication in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
  • Four years related experience and/or training preferred. Must have experience working with all state and federal mortgage regulations. Including; but not limited to HMDA, ECOA, RESPA and Fair Lending
  • Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization. Discussions involve a high degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively in person, on the phone, through emails or other written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and automated underwriting systems (AUS)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions
