North Shore Bank is seeking a Building Engineer I to join our maintenance team! This individual will work on a team to perform onsite routine and preventative building and office maintenance at all of our locations. Responsibilities:

• Basic knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and other general duties associated with maintaining office buildings.
• Perform routine building and system maintenance including mechanical, HVAC and plumbing etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance (inspections, cleaning, testing, HVAC systems, etc.)
• Perform building repair including plumbing fixtures, bulb replacements etc.
• Cross train and continue to learn additional responsibilities
• Drive company vehicle to other branches for errands or company deliveries
• Other duties or projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Minimum one year of completed technical training preferred
• Minimum of three years of building/office maintenance experience in lieu of technical training
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external contacts
• Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle
• Basic use of hand/power tools
• Ability to climb ladders, walk, stoop, crawl or stand for longer periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Attention to detail and time management skills
