Jeff joined North Shore Bank in 2004, shortly after graduating from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a Bachelor of Economics degree. Prior to his current role as VP, Investments & Trust, he served as the Trust Manager. He brings a strong leadership skillset to the day to day management of the division. He takes great pride in understanding the needs of each and every one of our clients and inspires a sense of unity within our team. He is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), a graduate of the ABA National Trust and National Graduate Trust School and Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager (AFIM). Jeff serves on the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland and receives great satisfaction from his participation in the development of our area’s youth.
VP, Private Banking, Retirement & Insurance
Matt’s banking career started in 2005, and in 2007 he joined North Shore Bank. Since that time, he has gained a wealth of knowledge through several roles here that lends to his success in his current role as VP, Private Banking, Retirement, & Insurance. Matt is a summa cum laude graduate from The College of St. Scholastica having received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Accounting. In 2014, he successfully completed Boston University’s Certified Financial Planning Program. Matt prides himself on providing clients with an exceptional wealth management experience by using his depth of knowledge in all the various Retail, Commercial, and Investment services North Shore has to offer. Furthermore, Matt enjoys sharing his knowledge with staff members that are currently developing in their roles. Matt serves on the board of North Country RIDE.
VP, Senior Trust Executive
Jena began her banking career with North Shore as a part time teller in 1990 and has since held several key positions within the bank ranging from lending to trust administration. Jena’s broad range of banking knowledge allows her to give clients a complete and well-rounded Wealth Management experience. Her attention to detail and genuine interest in her customers’ financial well-being makes her role in the Investments & Trust division a natural fit. Jena is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth, the ABA National Graduate Trust School, and is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA). Jena’s commitment to improving our community is evidenced by her involvement in the many non-profit organizations she has worked with over the years. Currently Jena serves on the Executive Board of the Duluth Superior Eco Rotary.
Pat has been with North Shore for over 40 years and has spent most of her career in Trust Operations. Through the years Pat has acquired a broad and in-depth level of knowledge that is instrumental in the quality of our productivity and efficiency as it relates to system utilization. When opportunities lend her operational background to problem solving for her team members and our clients, she attains one of her greatest levels of job satisfaction. She has served on a number of non-profit boards and is currently on the Executive Committee for both the Duluth Lions Club and the Union Gospel Mission.
Prior to joining North Shore Investments & Trust in 2002, Tim’s extensive professional background included serving as an equity analyst for a hedge fund, a trust portfolio manager, and as an economist and futures analyst for the Chicago Board of Trade. Tim is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, with a Master of Arts degree in Economics and also a graduate of the ABA Trust Graduate School. Tim is proud to say that he works for his clients with only their best interest in mind. Tim devotes time to the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. Tim is also an adjunct instructor of Economics and Finance at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
VP, Retirement Planning Executive
Samantha joined North Shore Bank in 2004 and has served in a variety of roles including account administration. Her background in personal trusts, conservatorships, estates, IRAs and investment management accounts was a perfect segue into her current role where she is responsible for the operational administrative and client experience. Samantha is a graduate of the Duluth Business University, with an Associate's degree in Business Administration. She is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and a graduate of the ABA National Trust School and ABA Graduate Trust School. Samantha serves as a board member on the Duluth Edison Charter School Legacy Foundation board and the St. Ann's Residence board.
