Jeff joined North Shore Bank in 2004, shortly after graduating from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a Bachelor of Economics degree. Prior to his current role as VP, Investments & Trust, he served as the Trust Manager. He brings a strong leadership skillset to the day to day management of the division. He takes great pride in understanding the needs of each and every one of our clients and inspires a sense of unity within our team. He is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), a graduate of the ABA National Trust and National Graduate Trust School and Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager (AFIM). Jeff serves on the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland and receives great satisfaction from his participation in the development of our area’s youth.
Jena began her banking career with North Shore as a part time teller in 1990 and has since held several key positions within the bank ranging from lending to trust administration. Jena’s broad range of banking knowledge allows her to give clients a complete and well-rounded Wealth Management experience. Her attention to detail and genuine interest in her customers’ financial well-being makes her role in the Investments & Trust division a natural fit. Jena is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth, the ABA National Graduate Trust School, and is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA). Jena’s commitment to improving our community is evidenced by her involvement in the many non-profit organizations she has worked with over the years. Currently Jena serves on the Executive Board of the Duluth Superior Eco Rotary.
Samantha joined North Shore Bank in 2004 and has served in a variety of roles including account administration. Her background in personal trusts, conservatorships, estates, IRAs and investment management accounts was a perfect segue into her current role where she is responsible for the operational administrative and client experience. Samantha is a graduate of the Duluth Business University, with an Associate's degree in Business Administration. She is a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and a graduate of the ABA National Trust School and ABA Graduate Trust School. Samantha serves as President of the St. Ann's Residence board of directors.
Megan joined North Shore Bank’s Investment & Trust department in June 2023 as a portfolio manager. Previously she worked as a financial advisor for Ameriprise Financial and Wells Fargo Advisors in Bismarck, ND.
Megan graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a bachelor’s degree in economics. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and holds the Accredited Portfolio Management AdvisorSM designation.
Jacob joined North Shore Bank in 2009 and has held various positions within the bank including Retail Banker, Assistant Financial Manager, Trust Operations Risk Manager, and Private Banking Executive. His diverse financial background complements his current role as a VP, Trust Executive. Jacob is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth, earning a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. In addition to his current duties, Jacob is certified as an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP).
Aili joined North Shore Bank in 2012 and has since gained a diverse background in a variety of areas including trust administration and the risk management of unique assets. In her current role, as Vice President, Trust Executive, Aili works one on one with clients to simplify and facilitate their trust and estate strategies. Aili is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Superior with a degree in Professional Studies, a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute Trust School, and a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA). Aili is a 2023 Graduate of the Leadership Duluth program. Aili also serves as a board member and treasurer for the Duluth Edison Charter School Legacy Foundation.
Karl joined North Shore Bank in 2024 as a VP Trust Executive, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his extensive career in the financial sector since 1987. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Senior Fiduciary Advisory Specialist, where he specialized in helping clients establish their personal financial goals and estate plans. Karl holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas. Additionally, he is actively engaged in the community through various organizations, including the Arrowhead Estate Planning Council, and he is the founder of the Duluth East High School Foundation.

Christa joined North Shore Bank in November 2024 as a Retirement Solutions Executive. With a background as a Financial Advisor and leadership experience in the retail sector, she brings a diverse skillset and a strong commitment to helping clients meet their financial goals at every stage of life. Her dedication to customer service makes her a great addition to the team.
Christa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising and Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She is actively involved in her community, serving on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland and volunteering with local organizations, including the Minnesota Ballet and Union Gospel Mission.
Anthony joined the Investment and Trust department in 2024 as a Portfolio Manager. His previous work experience includes financial advising and investment research.
Anthony graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation.

Erica joined the North Shore Retirement Solutions Center in 2020 and administers IRA and investment management accounts. Prior to joining North Shore Bank, Erica spent a number of years working with a local energy provider as an analyst. She also brings a robust background in customer service. Erica had an interest in financial planning and aligned her career path to reflect and support this interest. Erica is a graduate from the University of Minnesota – Duluth with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a focus in Mathematics, and is a Certified IRA Professional (CIP). She enjoys assisting her clients in planning for their financial future.

Scott joined the team at North Shore Bank in 2022 where he focuses on Retirement/Financial Planning, IRAs, Investment Agencies, and 401(k) administration. Prior to North Shore Bank, he worked at an investment banking company as a Vice President of Investments where he specialized in building comprehensive financial plans. Scott is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Finance with an emphasis in Financial Planning. Scott earned the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation in 2020.
Kendra joined North Shore Bank in 2012 as a part time teller. She has been promoted through the ranks and held upward progressive roles including including full service banker and teller supervisor. Kendra started her current role as a Specialist in the Trust Department in 2020. Kendra earned her Certification as a Estate and Trust Specialist from the Institute of Business and Finance. Kendra enjoys using her banking background and knowledge of trust and estate settlement to provide a seamless and positive experience for her clients.
Lucas joined North Shore Bank in 2023 as a Trust Associate. Lucas oversees incoming clients' deposits, and assists with the administration of IRAs and other retirement accounts. Lucas also provides ongoing support to his department. Lucas is a Duluth native, and a graduate of the University of North Dakota where he earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance. During his time at UND, Lucas worked in their Treasury Department and assisted in streamlining their accounting operations.
Miranda joined the North Shore Bank team in 2024 as a Trust Assistant. Miranda was born and raised in Texas, where she graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Miranda has a noteworthy background in customer service and is passionate about servicing the clients she works with.
Keely joined North Shore Bank in 2024 as a Trust Assistant. Keely grew up in Superior and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison. There she earned a BA in Economics with a Mathematics Emphasis, and a BA in Spanish. Keely has excellent customer service experience and she is enthusiastic about ensuring a personalized and positive experience for her clients.
