North Shore Bank is a locally-owned and managed, independent, community bank that has been operating in the Duluth area for over 100 years! We are seeking a Financial Services Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team! This position will provide operational support to customers and staff including collection management, fraud research and detection and data extraction through custom report writing.  We offer competitive pay, a full benefits package and a fun team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: 

• Ensure timely, efficient and effective detection of fraudulent activity across all payment streams working with other teams within the Bank
• Interact with staff and clients to assist in the investigation and/or resolution of fraudulent activity
• Provide centralized consumer and mortgage loan collection efforts while maintaining the Bank’s integrity and complying with all State and Federal Regulations
• Assist in implementing, maintaining, improving and utilizing the loan collection module within the Bank’s core system
• Create and maintain custom reporting requests through the Bank’s core system reporting software
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Two year college degree or similar experience preferred
• Three to five years of similar or related experience
• Exceptional customer service and written/verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in different systems
• Self-motivated time management skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Banking experience preferred, but not required
