We're currently seeking a full-time Lock Desk Specialist to join our Mortgage team. Someone who is not only detail-oriented and dependable, but who is self-motivated with great time management skills would be an ideal candidate. What You'll Do:
- Upload rates and maintain the integrity of the pricing engine.
- Work within the various systems and websites required to process data regarding loan pricing and locks.
- Review rate sheets, once imported into the pricing engine, for accuracy.
- Update and maintain daily pricing rate sheets.
- Accurately and efficiently lock loans and handle changes in order to make the process as streamlined as possible.
- Monitor the lock desk email queue and ensure that all lock requests have been reviewed and committed.
- Review the pricing of locked loans when changes have been requested, and notify the proper parties of any pricing changes.
- Document all changes to rate changes and pricing exceptions.
- Update product matrices as new products and are developed/released and new investors are approved and added.
- Create management reports needed.
- Answer any questions from staff, locking loans, processing lock extensions and any changes with the loan, all in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor loans held for sale and that loan deliveries are complete and reports are updated, communicate with hedging firm on changes to loan sales.
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software. Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Self-motivated and ability to complete tasks with little supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with staff and internal customers.
