We are seeking a Personal Banking Branch Manager to lead our team of personal bankers and drive the success of the downtown branch. In this role, you will build strong customer relationships by understanding their financial needs and delivering customized solutions that support their goals, while also growing new business and deepening existing customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include daily branch operations, including leading and supervising the personal banking team, ensuring exceptional service, and supporting customers with their products and services. This position also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of offerings and managing the team schedule and performance.

What You Will Do:

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead, manage, and develop a team of Personal Bankers to deliver exceptional customer service
    • Promote a collaborative and positive work environment
    • Conduct training, performance reviews, and regular one-on-one meetings, providing ongoing feedback on employee performance
    • Coach and mentor staff to foster a culture of continuous development and a growth-oriented mindset
    • Manage scheduling, coordinate reporting, and tracking for all offices
    • Assist in the interviewing and hiring process for Personal Bankers
  • Customer Relationships:
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers
    • Identify customers' financial needs and provide personalized banking solutions
    • Engage and monitor the day-to-day sales and operations of the branch
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries
    • Perform backup teller duties as needed
  • Operations & Compliance:
    • Ensure daily banking operations run efficiently and in compliance with policies and regulations
    • Lead and oversee daily operations of Personal Bankers at the Downtown and Autobank locations
    • Monitor branch cash and financial transactions for accuracy and security
    • Maintain knowledge of banking products, services, and industry regulations
    • Provide operational support, and assists with teller issues and oversight
    • Complete timeclock approvals and other supervisory responsibilities
    • Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a two-year college degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in banking, supervisory experience required.
  • Solid understanding of banking products, services, and financial regulations.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively in both face-to-face and phone interactions, and a desire for helping others in a professional manner.
  • Ability to perform account openings and lending tasks as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong multitasking, time management, and computer skills.

  • $50,000-$62,000 base salary depending on experience, eligible for loan and deposit incentives.
