This individual will provide concierge-style service for the superior client experience, maintain and cultivate a proactive approach to client relationships, support the department with loan and account maintenance and act as a referral partner to other areas of the bank. This position is located onsite in Duluth, MN with occasional local and regional travel.

What You Will Do:
- Create and maintain a portfolio of clients with deposit, loan and financial planning relationships
- Meet with potential private banking clients
- Underwrite personal and commercial loans
- Meet periodically with existing customers to review and expand existing relationship
- Develop professional contacts by participation in community networking
- Function as a liaison to a variety of specialists such as commercial lenders, mortgage originators, insurance agents, trust administrators and retirement administrators.
- Participate in all aspects of Private Banking department which may include but not limited to: originating loans, processing loans, overdraft decisions, general account maintenance and other operational responsibilities. Could include providing back up to retail banking team in other branches.
- Develop skillsets in financial and retirement planning
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Associates degree and five to ten years of similar or related experience. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Exceptional customer service, communication and relationship building skills
- Detail orientated, multitasking and time management skills
- Supports collaborative team environment
- Experience in consumer and mortgage lending. Commercial lending experience preferred
- Experience in financial and retirement planning preferred, but not required
